Inspection and honest assessment

Repair on site, not in a workshop
Most metal fire escape repairs in London are done in place. Our vans carry welding, cutting, drilling and lifting kit, so corroded sections are cut out, new steel is fitted and welds are ground back and painted in the same visit wherever the structure allows.
Keeping the escape route usable
Escape routes cannot simply be closed. We phase work flight by flight, provide temporary handrails and hot works cover, and work evenings or weekends where a building is occupied during the day.
Full refurbishment when repair is not enough
Where an escape is beyond patching, we fabricate and install replacement stairs, landings and balustrades to match the existing arrangement — surveyed, made to size and craned or bolted into position by our own installation teams.

Almost always. Corroded treads, stringers, landings, handrails and failed welds are repaired in position using our mobile welding vans. Only escapes with widespread structural loss need full replacement.
How quickly can you attend in London?

Do you carry out hot works safely on occupied buildings?
